Congratulations to the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, who last night received a GRAMMY nomination in the Best Contemporary Blues Album category for recent release, LIVE! In Chicago. The announcement also marks Roadrunner Records imprint, Loud & Proud Records, first GRAMMY nomination.

This is Kenny’s 5th GRAMMY nomination. The Kenny Wayne Shepherd band is honored to be nominated alongside acclaimed artists like the late Solomon Burke, Dr. John and The Lower 911, Bettye LaVette and the inimitable Buddy Guy. The 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards will take place February 13th, 2011 at 8PM ET/PT on CBS.

Savannah Music Festival Celebrates Blues, Americana, Jazz & World Music December 2, 2010

New York, NY – Savannah Music Festival (SMF) announces the lineup for its 2011 season, an expansive city-wide, multi-venue program showcasing a wide array of internationally-acclaimed artists in more than 100 productions over the course of more than two weeks, March 24 -April 9.

Held annually in historic downtown Savannah, this 22nd season of Georgia’s largest festival – described by The Times of London as “one of the best events around the world”- features numerous festival debuts and the return of several audience favorites from the realms of jazz, blues, Americana, international traditions, and classical.
