November offers a veritable feast of world-class blues and blues-rock with four Nugene artists on tour in the UK.

It kicks off on Sunday Nov 7th when Matt Schofield starts a 17 date tour with an appearance at The Assembly in Leamington Spa as part of a multi-bill event, and continues throughout the month as Ian Siegal, Ben Prestage and Simon McBride join the fun.

Here are a few pointers. You can see each artists’s full itinerary by clicking on the links at the end of this message.

Ian Siegal & Ben Prestage start their tour on November 10 at The Stables near Milton Keynes while on the same night Matt Schofield plays in Nottingham at the Bodega (with Simon McBride opening).

Ian & Ben’s tour – both in solo mode – promises a feast of rootsy blues, Americana and Ian’s uniquely personal take on some of his favourite songwriters. Ben – from Florida – is undertaking his first full tour of the UK. He was recipient of the Most Unique Performer Award at The Songwriters’ Showcase of America and also runner-up in the International Blues Challenge.

Matt Schofield is touring with his US-band line-up with Kevin Hayes on drums. Earlier this year, this band completed a 40-date tour of the USA and Canada. Kevin was for many years Robert Cray’s drummer and has a list of recording credentials that includes BB King, Albert Collins, John Lee Hooker and Van Morrison.

Simon McBride, hot from opening for Joe Satriani around the UK, starts his own tour on Nov 22 at the Corporation in Sheffield. These dates are a perfect opportunity to hear Simon play tracks from his much acclaimed new album, SINCE THEN.
