Melbourne, Australia based act, Collard Greens & Gravy are releasing their 5th album on Monday, September 13th 2010.

The album title is “Juke Joint Boogie!” (BMM 357.2) and is a combination of original and cover tunes.

Michelle Shocked (Carol Carr) is a lead singer of a red hot heavy metal band. Her image as the new queen of rock is feed by rumors that she’s involved with witchcraft & Satan worship. There are even stories of disappearances of fans at her shows! But her manager Lou Sharkey has grown tried of dealing with media outrage, so he fires her & replaces her with Jamie Summers (Melissa Moore), a sexy blonde with a strong voice & less ego. However, when the band visits Shocked to tell her they had nothing to do with her firing, they discover the rumors are true – Shocked is a demon & the band is forced to kill her. But later that day, Jamie visits Shocked’s apartment to pick up some of her old stage clothes & finds the body. Drawn to it, she becomes possessed by Shocked’s spirit. <strong>WASHINGTON, D.C.</strong> – Just like the lyric in the classic American road song “Route 66,” The Nighthawks, one of the premier American roots bands of the past 40 years, have announced they’ll be “motoring west” for their first extensive visit to the West Coast and Southwest in many years.

“The Nighthawks Motor West Tour 2010” will not only bring the band to the Southwest for shows in Phoenix and Tucson, but also to the West Coast for dates in the Los Angeles area, San Francisco and several other Bay Area markets – places they haven’t played in four to six years. The band will close the tour with dates in Colorado and the Midwest.

Celebrated blues diva Candye Kane, recent cancer survivor and 2010 nominee for the B.B. King Entertainer of the Year Award, becomes the final name player added to the upcoming tribute album “WHOLE LOTTA LOVE: An All-Star Salute To Fat Chicks.”

The voluptuous and curvaceous Candye appears courtesy of her size-positive original recording “You Need A Great Big Woman,” as showcased on the Lifetime network and “The Maury Povich Show.” This guitar-laden swing rocker features the incomparable Ms. Kane belting out the benefits of loving a large and luscious lady like herself.
